Santoor Strings

This is a self taught santoor dvd in english. You can start on this instrument by simply following the instructions.

This instrument is actually a modified Archtop guitar and consists of 20 strings.Three melody strings, five drone strings strung to the peghead, and twelve sympathetic strings strung to the tuners mounted on the side of the neck.

Concert model. The dilruba is popular in north-west India. It is found in Punjab, Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra.

This model includes an Air Flight case. The israj is a string bowed  instrument found throughout the north, central, and east regions of India. The Israj  is used in religious music and light classical songs in the urban areas.
